Enduro Trail-XT+

Mitas Enduro Trail-XT+ is a 50/50 tyre built for serious dual-sport and adventure riders who demand off-road performance without sacrificing road stability. With aggressive tread blocks, deep lugs, and a reinforced carcass, the XT+ offers impressive traction on UK green lanes, wet forest trails, and rocky ascents. While still legal and manageable on-road, this tyre is clearly built for riders who prioritise trail grip and want a tyre that can handle tough terrain without switching to full enduro rubber.

Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
Wet and dry UK trails, forest singletrack, chalk and clay, rocky slopes, and rough gravel paths.
Rider Types
Adventure and dual-sport riders who take their big bikes off-road frequently. Perfect for those riding 60–70% off-road but still needing to connect trails via tarmac.
Motorcycle Types
KTM 890 Adventure R, Yamaha Ténéré 700, Honda Africa Twin, Husqvarna Norden 901, BMW F850GS — any ADV bike that’s regularly used off-road.
Performance
MudReally good
Performs well in soft and mid-depth mud. The large tread blocks and wide spacing help shed sticky clay, and the tyre offers consistent forward drive and braking confidence. In deep bogs, it begins to struggle, but still outperforms most ADV tyres in its class.
GravelSuper amazing
Excels on gravel, hardpack, and fire roads. Predictable cornering, solid braking stability, and minimal side-to-side twitch even at speed. It’s a standout tyre for gravel-heavy adventure routes.
GrassReally good
Surprisingly good on wet grass, roots, and compacted damp trails. The tread lugs bite well and offer solid side grip. Not quite at the level of true enduro tyres, but impressive for a dual-sport tyre that can handle the road too.
Wet Tarmac GripDecent
Caution required on wet roads — especially painted lines and polished surfaces. The blocky tread doesn’t provide high-speed confidence in the wet, though moderate rain performance is manageable with conservative inputs.
Road DurabilityLong-lasting
Will comfortably deliver 3,000–4,000 miles on tarmac before noticeable wear. Tread blocks wear evenly, but road use does blunt their edges faster. Not a commuting tyre, but good for regular weekend rides.
Off-Road DurabilityVery durable
Holds up very well under rough terrain. Knobs resist tearing on rock and hardpack, and compound toughness gives good life over extended off-road use. Easily 3,000+ miles if mostly trail riding.

Running tubeless? You can still fit a tube.
In rough terrain — rocky enduro, low-pressure riding, Iceland-style adventure — fitting a heavy-duty tube inside a tubeless tyre is a legitimate and smart setup. Rim size below is matched to your selected tyre (17" rim).
