Mitas Enduro Trail+ is a rugged 70/30 adventure tyre designed for riders who want dependable off-road traction while still maintaining composure on the road. Sitting between the Trail-ADV2 and Trail-SP in aggressiveness, the Trail+ adds deeper tread blocks and a stiffer carcass, making it better suited for green lanes, hardpack trails, and rocky terrain. It’s a great choice for UK adventure riders who want to push their big bikes a bit further off-road without stepping up to full knobbies.
Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
UK green lanes, dry trails, gravel tracks, rocky climbs, forest roads, and backcountry routes.
Rider Types
Adventure riders looking for a tough, versatile tyre that’s capable on the trails but still smooth and dependable on tarmac. Great for mixed-day riding and weekend explorers.
Motorcycle Types
Yamaha Ténéré 700, KTM 890 Adventure R, Honda Africa Twin, BMW GS, Triumph Tiger 900 Rally. Ideal for big ADV bikes used for real off-road riding.
Performance
Performs well in light to moderate mud. The tread has enough depth and spacing to clear damp clay and offer forward grip, though it can get bogged down in deeper sections. Best when aired down slightly.
Strong performance on gravel and hardpack. Predictable steering feel, stable under braking, and grips well even when descending loose hills. A sweet spot for mixed terrain riding.
Handles damp grass, roots, and slick trail surfaces decently. Offers more grip than a 60/40 tyre thanks to the blocky tread, but will still slide on heavily cambered or saturated surfaces.
Comfortable and quiet on the road considering its off-road capability. Minimal vibration, tracks straight, and offers good confidence on corners. Performs better than expected for a 70/30 tyre.
Good wet-weather grip for a block-pattern tyre, though not on par with road-biased adventure tyres. It holds a line in the wet and brakes predictably if you ride within its limits.
Durability
Off-road wear is moderate. Knobs retain their edges well through rocky and dry terrain, but performance begins to dip around 3,000 miles with regular trail use. Carcass is tough and resists cuts and tears.
Capable of 5,000–6,000 miles on the road without excessive wear. Tread pattern holds its shape and doesn’t square off quickly, even under commuting or motorway use.
