Mitas
Enduro Trail-ADV 2
The Mitas Enduro Trail-ADV 2 is a 70/30 road-leaning adventure tyre. It replaces the original ADV (which Mitas had to redesign due to a patent issue on the first tread pattern). The new design draws on the well-proven Enduro Trail+ chevron pattern, with deeper grooves and self-cleaning channels for medium to light off-road work. Multi-Compound Tread Technology (MCTT) delivers strong mileage and stable cornering grip even in cooler temperatures, while a high silica content lifts wet road performance. Reinforced carcass for high-speed stability and loaded touring comfort. Already chosen as original equipment on the 2026 Aprilia SR GT 400. Sits between the road-focused E-05 and the 60/40 Enduro Trail+ in the Mitas adventure range.

Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
Tarmac (main use), gravel roads, fire roads, hardpack trails, light forestry tracks. Capable on dry green lanes. Not built for deep mud, sand, or technical off-road.
Rider Types
Adventure and touring riders whose riding is mostly road-based with occasional unsurfaced sections. Commuters and tourers on big adventure bikes who want confident wet grip and long mileage. Riders of mid-size adventure scooters and crossover machines. Not the right tyre for green laning weekends, BDR-style trips, or serious off-road work.
Motorcycle Types
Big adventure (BMW R 1300 GS / R 1250 GS, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/T, Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports, Triumph Tiger 1200 GT, Ducati Multistrada V4). Mid-size adventure (Yamaha Ténéré 700 for road-leaning use, Triumph Tiger 900 GT, KTM 890 Adventure S, Suzuki V-Strom 800/1050). Smaller adventure and crossover (KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Honda NX500). Adventure scooters (Aprilia SR GT 400 as OE).
Performance
MudBetter than nothing
Closely-spaced chevron blocks pack with wet mud quickly. Wrong tyre for the job.
GravelQuite good
Capable on hardpack and well-graded gravel roads. Lacks the bite of a 50/50 for loose or rocky going.
GrassQuite good
Self-cleaning chevron channels help on damp hardpack. Less confident on wet roots or off-camber off-road than a knobblier tyre.
Wet Tarmac GripReally good
High silica compound delivers strong wet road performance. MCTT compound stays grippy in cooler temperatures, which matters in UK riding.
Road DurabilityVery durable
MCTT is built for mileage. Strong wear life expected, in line with the Enduro Trail+ heritage.
Off-Road DurabilityLong-lasting
Reinforced carcass copes well with occasional gravel and hardpack. Not built for sustained rough off-road.

Running tubeless? You can still fit a tube.
In rough terrain — rocky enduro, low-pressure riding, Iceland-style adventure — fitting a heavy-duty tube inside a tubeless tyre is a legitimate and smart setup. Rim size below is matched to your selected tyre (17" rim).
