Michelin Tracker is a street-legal, competition-grade tyre aimed at enduro and trail riders who demand serious off-road capability with the convenience of DOT approval. With a knobbly design that excels in mud and loose terrain, it also offers a surprising level of on-road civility for short transfers. It’s a true dual-sport tyre with a bias toward aggressive trail riding.
Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
Green lanes, enduro trails, mixed UK off-road terrain, forestry roads, fire roads, and muddy lanes. Good for soft and intermediate ground.
Rider Types
Trail riders and dual-sport adventurers who want a true 70/30 off-road/on-road tyre that’s road legal and ready for rough stuff.
Motorcycle Types
Suitable for mid-weight and lightweight dual-sport and enduro bikes like the KTM 690 Enduro R, Honda CRF300L, Yamaha WR250R, and Beta 390 RR.
Performance
Performs well in mud with wide-spaced tread blocks that bite into soft ground. Lacks the sheer chunk of a full enduro competition tyre but holds up well in UK green lane conditions.
Handles gravel confidently with good feedback and minimal deflection. Traction is dependable even at higher trail speeds.
Secure and predictable on slippery forest tracks and wet dirt. While not a trials-style compound, the profile and spacing offer solid grip under varying conditions.
Comfortable enough for tarmac transfers, but block pattern can feel vague at lean. Better than true knobbies but still not ideal for high-speed road use.
Acceptable wet grip for a trail-focused tyre, but tread can skate slightly in the rain. Better than full enduro rubber but less planted than 50/50 options.
Durability
Durable for trail and enduro use, especially when pressure is optimised. Rear wears faster under aggressive throttle but performance remains stable.
Wear is moderate — it can survive regular tarmac transfers but shouldn't be used for extended road mileage. Expect rounded knobs over time.
