Dunlop Geomax MX34 is the latest generation of Dunlop intermediate motocross tyres, replacing the widely-used MX33. It’s designed for mixed terrain — from soft loam to medium hardpack — with a new carcass and compound for better bump absorption, traction, and sidewall flex. Ideal for race use, not intended for road riding.
Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
Loam, clay, intermediate motocross tracks, soft hardpack. Performs across varying terrain types common in motocross circuits.
Rider Types
Motocross and off-road riders who want a race tyre for versatile track or trail conditions. Intermediate to advanced skill levels.
Motorcycle Types
Full-size MX bikes like Honda CRF450R, Yamaha YZ250F, KTM SX-F, Kawasaki KX250F
Performance
Handles loamy and soft terrain confidently, though not as aggressive as a dedicated mud tyre like the MX14.
Performs well on loose gravel and moderate hardpack. Offers solid drive and cornering confidence.
Maintains grip well on slippery off-road surfaces including damp soil and clay. Improved side knob stability helps in ruts and slick berms.
Not road legal. Intended purely for off-road racing — poor tread pattern and compound for asphalt.
No safe wet tarmac grip. Compound designed for soft/mid off-road terrain only.
Durability
Offers improved off-road lifespan over MX33, especially in intermediate terrain. New tread design and sidewall flex tech reduce wear in aggressive racing.
Soft motocross compound wears extremely fast on roads or hard surfaces. Not for street use.
