Dunlop D952 is a versatile motocross tyre designed to offer excellent value and durability for riders tackling a mix of off-road terrain. It uses a long-wearing compound derived from desert racing tyres, making it well-suited to hardpack, rocks, and fireroads. Though DOT-approved, it's not meant for serious road use, and it excels in recreational off-road and training environments.

Hardpack, dry trails, light gravel, rocky terrain, motocross practice tracks, and light enduro trails.

Performance
Performs adequately in moderate mud thanks to open tread, but not built for deep or wet clay conditions.
Very comfortable on gravel, dry dirt, and hardpack with predictable handling and good rear drive.
Holds traction reasonably well over roots and damp rocks, though better suited to drier ground.
DOT-legal but not road-friendly. Vague feel, high wear, and limited safety on paved sections.
Wet tarmac is risky. Limited siping and hard compound offer little confidence in the rain.
Durability
Outstanding longevity off-road for a motocross tyre. Handles rocky and dry terrain abuse well.
Usable for brief transits, but knobs wear quickly and generate vibration. Avoid long tarmac rides.
