Continental TKC70 Rocks is a rear tyre that blends the on-road manners of the TKC70 with increased off-road capability. Designed to bridge the gap between the TKC70 and the TKC80, it features a more aggressive tread pattern on the rear to improve traction in loose terrain, while still maintaining solid on-road performance and comfort.
Ideal For
Terrain & Conditions
Gravel roads, hardpack trails, fire roads, and light off-road use with strong on-road comfort.
Rider Types
Adventure and touring riders who want a true 70/30 tyre with better rear traction off-road than the original TKC70.
Motorcycle Types
BMW GS series, KTM Adventure bikes, Yamaha Ténéré 700, Triumph Tiger, Honda Africa Twin.
Performance
Moderate performance in muddy conditions. Open block design helps with some self-cleaning, but it is not built for deep or sticky mud.
Handles gravel tracks and fire roads well. The rear "Rocks" tread pattern improves bite and stability on loose surfaces.
Decent grip on slippery forest trails or wet grass. Performs best when used with traction control or in controlled throttle applications.
Stable and composed on-road, even at high speeds. Excellent for long-distance touring with occasional detours off-road.
Very good grip on wet tarmac for a 70/30 dual-sport tyre. Confidence-inspiring in wet weather conditions.
Durability
Fair off-road lifespan. Chunkier tread allows for better traction off-road compared to the base TKC70, but it’s still a compromise.
Durable on-road performance with a compound designed for mileage without compromising too much grip.
