Performance
MudDecent
Light mud performance only. Can handle brief sections of damp trail or soft verge, but gets clogged quickly in deeper or sticky mud. Not suitable for technical off-road use.
GravelQuite good
Decent on compact gravel roads and dry fire tracks. Predictable handling and braking on straight lines, though confidence dips in loose gravel or under hard cornering.
GrassDecent
Manages basic wet grass or root-covered paths with care, but not designed for unpredictable or slippery terrain. Recommended only for brief low-risk use.
Wet Tarmac GripReally good
Wet tarmac grip is solid, with good confidence under moderate braking and cornering. May slip slightly in aggressive lean angles or cold, wet conditions, but overall safe.
Road DurabilityIronclad
Durability on road is one of the Capra R’s strongest traits. Riders commonly report 8,000–10,000 miles from a set, making it a go-to for long tours and commutes.
Off-Road DurabilityReasonable
Off-road wear becomes noticeable quickly if used on rock, roots, or gravel. Side knobs are limited and can chunk under sustained trail abuse. Not recommended for regular trail use.
