Originally developed by Michelin for the Paris-Dakar rally and now the standard choice for serious enduro, hard enduro, and rally raid competition worldwide. Compression characteristics mimic the feel of a tube at around 13 psi (0.9 bar), giving riders the low-pressure traction they need without the puncture risk. Must be installed with Michelin Bib Mousse Lube to reduce friction inside the tyre and slow heat-related degradation of the foam. Lifespan is finite: expect around six months of regular hard use or roughly a race season before the mousse loses its compression and needs replacing.
